Chapter 4 - A Little Talk With Jamie

When Jamie got home from school one day, she set her backpack on the floor next to the umbrella holder.  "Hey mom, I'm going to go to Amile's house for a while.  I'll be back in time to finish my homework, eat dinner, and take a shower."  Jamie called.  "Okay honey."  Her mom answered back from her office.  "okay mom, I'll see you."  Jamie said as she hopped out the door.   A few minutes after Jamie left, her mom, (Also known as Michelle) walked down stairs.  She picked up Jamies backpack and set it on the kitchen counter.  She unzipped Jamie's backpack and pulled out her binders and notepad.  "My Sketching Pad"  It was labeled.  "Ooohh, this looks interesting." Michelle stated.  "Oh no no no Michelle, you shouldn't snoop!  She argued with herself.  "Oh..but it's so much fun Michelle!  I'll just take a peek..."  Jamie's mom opened the notebook just the tiniest of a smidge, and snapped it shut.  "You really should not invade your daughters own personal belongings!"  Michelle scolded herself.  "Well...I did buy it, so...guess that means i get to open it."  Michelle answered to herself with pride.  "Fine...you win."  She surrendered to herself.  "So finally, now that Michelle had agreed with herself that she got to open the oh-so-interesting-notepad, she opened a sliver, then a crack, and sooner or later she was examineing every single page.  Until, she saws what looked like a revenge plan.  "What's this now?" her mom questioned.  "Now this is why you shouldn't snoop!"  Michelle's little voice inside her started up again.  "Fine you were right all along."  Michelle admitted to herself.  Michelle then closed the book and carefully set it on the table with the rest of her school supplies.
When Jamie got home, her mom rushed immediately down stairs with a I-know-you've-done-somthing-wrong face.  "Uhh, is there something wrong mother?  Jamie asked clueless of the subject.  "Oh...I'm fine, it's just that you were trying to bully someone at school!"  Jamie's mom scolded her.  What, what are you talking about?"  Jamie's mother snatched the notebook of the table, turned to the page of the revenge plan and shoved it in her arms.  "What?!?!  You were looking through my journal!?  How could you do that?!?  You're a mother not a spy!! Jamie shouted.  "Well, I was just curious..."  Michelle answered unsatisfied.  "Well since you're so curious, then I guess i should just tell you the truth.."  Jamie looked down at the sketched plan.  "Well the truth is, I wasn't really bullying, I was just trying to get a bully back."  Jamie confessed.  "So that's why you had chocolate milk in your hair.  Well anyway, honey you should have told either me or the princable sooner about this."  Jamie's mom said.  "I know, I was just so caught up in trying to get the bully back that I kind of forgot that a real payback would have been getting her in big troble with princable Hickman."  Jamie answered.  "Well I'm glad you told me sooner or later.  But honey I want you to tell that princable all about her behaviors towards you and all the other students tomorrow, okay?"  Jamie's mom asked.  "Of course mom!" Jamie answered.
Next when Jamie was finished with all her regular duties, she went to sleep like any other day.

Chapter 3 - Jamie's Payback

"So Jamie, did you really forgive Melody that easily, even though she made a waterfall of milk on your head?" Asked Jamie's locker buddy.  "Cause' I was talking to her yesterday and she said, that you forgave her and she was retrieving something for you.  Of course, I wasn't really sure about she said."  Jamie rolled her eyes.  The fact that Melody even had enough guts to really say that angered her.  "Well, whatever else she told you, was a lie.  Just as much as the rest."  Jamie answered to her loyal locker buddy.  "I knew you wouldn't trust Melody that much."  She smiled in a I-knew-it posture.  "Yeah, some people will just always be evil, I guess.  "So after the chocolate milk incident, what did she do to you next?"  Her curious locker friend asked as she grabbed some textbooks from her locker.  "She drowned my phone in water so now it doesn't work.  I don't know how to break it to my mom, she said that she wouldn't repair it at a shop or anything,  if something happened to it."  Jamie frowned at her own disappointment.  "Well why don't you just get a job, earn the money yourself, and pay for it?"  Her locker companion asked with pride.  "You know what Amile, (for this was her locker pal's name) that's a really good idea!  Wait, there's a catch to it.  I'd have to work for the rest of the school year and all of my summer!  My phone costs like, eight thousand dollars!"  Jamie answered sadly.  "Well,  I don't really need money right now, so if we both get the same job, then I can just give you my salary each day."  Amile answered as she closed her locker.  "Really?  Are you serious?  Oh Amile that would be great!  Thank you!!"  Jamie hopped up and down, squeezed her hands tight and shouted,  "Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!"  When she was finished with her happy "thank you" dance she said,  "Anyway, I gotta get to class, but see you later?"  "Sure!"  Amile answered in pleasure.
After class Jamie sashayed down the hallway happily, heading to the Cafeteria.  She hopped into the lunch line and an idea popped into her head.  "I wonder what I should do to Melody..."  Jamie thought.  For the first time, she put a smug look on her face, just like Melody's.  "Milk on her head?  No."  Jamie thought.  "Break her phone? No.  TP her house?  No."  Jamie concentrated harder as she moved down the line.  "Trip her when she gets out of line and heads face first into her lunch?  YES!" She shouted out loud.  Everyone stared directly her way.  She giggled uneasily trying to change the interest in the lunch line.  After everyone was interested in different things she passed out of line and sure enough Melody was there to ruin the simplest of plans.  She purposely tripped Jamie into her own plan except she was the one who fell face first into her food.  "Oops..."  Melody said insincerely.
Jamie quickly got up from her lunch, that was now on her face, and sprinted to the bathroom.  When she got to the bathroom she made sure nobody was there, especially Melody.  "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!"  Jamie shrieked.  Her eco bounced off the bathroom walls like crazy.  She stomped out of the bathroom and everyone once again stared.  This time, she didn't care how the people looked at her, or how insane she looked.
The next day at lunch, Jamie sat at an empty table, sketching on a notebook, her next plot.  Jamie was to busy to notice when Melody walked by.  When she was half past the back of Jamie's chair, she slipped on a dropped milk carton.  Jamie turned around to watch.  Just as Melody was about to come face to face with her lunch, she dropped her tray and then Jamie's crush came rushing over to catch Melody.  As soon as Melody was caught, she was is in a dip dance position with also her crush.  But when the guy of both Melody and Jamie's dreams looked who he had saved, he dropped her in disgust.  "EWWW!!"  He shrieked in a low-ish voice, and went back to his seat.  Melody sat for a few seconds in the leftovers of her lunch miserably.  As for Jamie, was cracking up.
